Multiplication and Division

In math class, we have been looking at various arrays to determine how multiplication and division are related to each other. We have also been reviewing/learning new math terms such as factor, product, dividend, divisor and quotient. Feel free to ask your child about any of these words or how an array can demonstrate both multiplication and division. For example, ask him/her to sketch you a 6 X 4 array and then ask him/her

to point out the various math terms and the relationship.
